Pink gin 75
Method 1
Ingredients
50ml pink gin berry- or rhubarb-flavoured gins work well
3 raspberries, plus 1 extra to garnish, if you like
1 tbsp freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
1 tsp sugar syrup (optional)
ice
champagne or prosecco, to top up
edible flower petals, to garnish (optional)
STEP 1
Tip the pink gin, raspberries, grapefruit juice and sugar syrup, if using, into a cocktail shaker along with a handful of ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels ice-cold.
STEP 2
Double-strain the drink into a champagne flute or coupe glass, then top up with champagne or prosecco. Drop in a raspberry or garnish with edible flower petals.
Method 2
Ingredients:
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz raspberry liqueur
- Champagne or sparkling wine
- Raspberries for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and raspberry liqueur to the shaker.
3. Shake well until chilled.
4. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass (such as a coupe or flute).
5. Top with Champagne or sparkling wine.
6. Garnish with raspberries.
