Peach & rose fizz

 


Method 1


ngredients

500ml peach juice, chilled

rosewater

750ml bottle prosecco, chilled


STEP 1

Mix the peach juice and rose water in a jug. Divide between 8 Champagne flutes or cocktail glasses, then top up with Prosecco. Serve immediately.



Method 2


Ingredients:

- 2 ripe peaches, peeled and chopped

- 1 tablespoon rose water

- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1/4 cup water

- 1 bottle sparkling water or champagne

- Ice cubes

- Rose petals for garnish


Instructions:

1. In a small saucepan, combine the chopped peaches, rose water, sugar, and water.

2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the peaches are soft and the mixture has thickened slightly.

3. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

4. Once cooled, strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing down on the solids to extract all the liquid.

5. Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour about 2-3 tablespoons of the peach and rose syrup over the ice.

6. Top it off with sparkling water or champagne.

7. Give it a gentle stir to mix the flavors.

8. Garnish with fresh rose petals.
