French 75 cocktail

 


Method 1


Ingredients

20ml lemon juice

10ml sugar syrup

30ml Tanqueray No.TEN Gin

champagne

ice

lemon zest


STEP 1

Pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup and Tanqueray No.TEN Gin into a cocktail shaker then fill up with ice.


STEP 2

Shake well then strain into a champagne flute. Top with a little champagne, leave to settle (as it will bubble up) then fill up with more champagne. Swirl gently with a cocktail stirrer then garnish with a strip of lemon zest if you like.



Method 2


ingredients:


- 2 oz gin

- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

- 1/2 oz simple syrup

- Champagne

- Lemon twist, for garnish


To prepare the cocktail:

1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

2. Shake well until chilled.

3. Strain the mixture into a champagne flute.

4. Top off the glass with Champagne.

5. Garnish with a lemon twist.
