Classic gin martini
Method 1
Ingredients
50ml Tanqueray No.TEN Gin
1 tsp dry vermouth
ice
STEP 1
Put a martini glass in the fridge to chill for 10 mins. Pour the Tanqueray No.TEN Gin and vermouth into a mixing glass or jug filled with ice cubes. Stir with a mixing spoon until the outside of the glass is very cold, then taste to check the dilution. If needed, continue to stir until the martini is diluted and chilled to your liking.
STEP 2
Strain the martini into the chilled glass and serve.
Method 2
ingredients:
- 2 1/2 ounces of gin
- 1/2 ounce of dry vermouth
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist or olive for garnish
To prepare the martini, fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add the gin and dry vermouth to the glass and stir well until thoroughly chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or olive, and enjoy your classic gin martini! Cheers!
