Palomezcal

 


Method 1


Ingredients

lime juice (optional)

50ml espadin mezcal

30ml fresh grapefruit juice

10ml agave syrup

ice

soda water

For the garnish

grapefruit


STEP 1

If you're choosing to salt the rim of your glass like a classic margarita, dip the rim in a saucer of lime juice, followed by a saucer of sea salt.


STEP 2

Put all the ingredients except the soda water into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and give it a good shake.


STEP 3

Strain into a tall collins glass over fresh ice and top with soda water and a slice of grapefruit to garnish.



Method 2


Ingredients:

- 2 oz mezcal

- 1 oz grapefruit juice

- 1/2 oz lime juice

- 1/2 oz agave syrup

- Dash of bitters

- Grapefruit slice for garnish

- Ice


Instructions:

1. Fill a shaker with ice.

2. Add the mezcal, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and bitters to the shaker.

3. Shake well.

4. Strain into a glass filled with ice.

5. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.

6. Enjoy your refreshing Palomezcal cocktail!
