Irish whiskey old fashioned

 

Method 1

Ingredients

40ml Irish whiskey

10ml elderflower cordial

10ml Sauternes

ice

pared lemon zest, to garnish

STEP 1

Put everything except the lemon zest in a tumbler and give it a quick stir to combine and dilute. Garnish with the lemon zest to serve.

Method 2

Ingredients:

- 2 oz Irish Whiskey

- 1 sugar cube

- 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters

- Orange peel

- Ice

Instructions:

1. Place the sugar cube in an Old Fashioned glass.

2. Add the Angostura bitters to the glass and muddle the sugar cube to dissolve it.

3. Fill the glass with ice.

4. Pour the Irish Whiskey over the ice and stir well to combine.

5. Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and garnish with the peel.
