Coconut margarita

 


Method 1


Ingredients

50ml tequila reposado

25ml lime juice

25ml coconut rum

ice cubes

For the coconut-lime rim

sea salt flakes

golden caster sugar

1tsp dessicated coconut

lime, zested


STEP 1

First, make the garnish for the rim. Combine the salt, sugar, dessicated coconut and lime zest on a shallow plate. Dampen the rim of a margarita glass and dip into the mixture. Chill the glass until needed.


STEP 2

Pour the tequila, lime juice and rum into a cocktail shaker and add a handful of ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels ice-cold.


STEP 3

Drop a few ice cubes into the prepared glass, then strain in the drink.



Method 2


ingredients:


- 2 oz of coconut tequila

- 1 oz of coconut cream

- 1 oz of lime juice

- 1 oz of triple sec

- Ice

- Shredded coconut and lime wedges for garnish


To prepare the drink, simply combine the coconut tequila, coconut cream, lime juice, and triple sec in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with shredded coconut and a lime wedge. Enjoy your refreshing coconut margarita!
