Method 1

Ingredients

Irish whiskey

pink grapefruit juice (use 100% juice, not from concentrate)

honey

grapefruit wedge, to garnish

STEP 1

Tip the whiskey, grapefruit juice and honey into a cocktail shaker.

STEP 2

Shake to combine, then double- strain into a stemmed cocktail glass (sometimes called a Nick and Nora glass). Garnish with a grapefruit wedge before serving.

Method 2

Ingredients:

- 2 oz bourbon

- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice

- 1/2 oz honey syrup (made with equal parts honey and hot water)

Instructions:

1. Fill a shaker with ice.

2. Add the bourbon, grapefruit juice, and honey syrup to the shaker.

3. Shake well until chilled.

4. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

5. Optional: Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
